Onboarding checklist and activation score

The onboarding checklist is a fixed four-step path designed to deliver first value quickly.

Checklist steps

1. Connect site — link WordPress credentials.
2. Run crawl — execute the first SEO audit.
3. Generate draft — produce an AI-assisted article.
4. Setup billing — unlock higher generation budgets.

Each step contributes 25 points toward a 100-point activation score. Workspaces reach **activated** status at 70 points or higher.

API endpoints

• GET /onboarding/checklist — canonical step definitions.
• GET /onboarding/progress?workspace_id={id} — workspace progress and metrics.
• POST /onboarding/step — record a completed step (Editor+).

The dashboard wizard and Next-Best-Action strip consume the same progress payload.
